San Pedro & San Julian Street Cleaning

URM is between San Pedro & San Julian streets, which run through the heart of the Skid Row area of Downtown LA. Every day, hundreds of people walk these streets, leaving behind urine, food remains and trash. At night, many people pull out tents and blankets and consider it home. We would like to organize a block long street cleaning of both of these streets– from the corner of 5^th street down to 6^th street. This is a great chance to be a blessing not just to the people within URM’s walls, but to many of our neighbors on Skid Row as well.

To cover the cost of the street cleaning supplies such as deck brushes and degreaser, a suggested donation of $10 per volunteer is appreciated!  Donations can be made on the day of the event.
